“I look at you and see the rest of my life in front of my eyes.” The connection that the bride and groom shared made this day unforgettable. For a couple that loves to travel, Cabo San Lucas was a dream come true for their destination wedding! The lovebirds chose Cabo Del Sol as the perfect place to exchange their vows and celebrate their love with their closest friends and family.
The morning of C + Y’s wedding day was bright and sunny. We adored the bride’s lacy, strapless wedding gown by Jim Hjelm, perfect for a beach wedding. The bride and her bridesmaids prepared for the big day with the help of makeup artist and hair stylist Suzanne Morel, while the groomsmen got ready in a separate room.
We always recommend a “First Look” session before the wedding ceremony, where we capture the look on the bride and groom’s faces when they see each other during the reveal. The bride walked up behind the groom and tapped his shoulder, and the look on his face was priceless when he saw his bride dressed all in white. A First Look session is the perfect opportunity for romantic and artistic portraits, without feeling rushed!
The outdoor ceremony took place at the Ocean Meadows of Cabo Del Sol, under blue skies and overlooking the ocean. Event planner Luba Ponce at Unique Cabo Weddings took care of every last detail to make sure that the ceremony was everything that the bride and groom hoped for. We loved the white, red + purple floral arrangements, the trail of white rose petals down the aisle, and the bottles of colored sand that the bride and groom mixed during the ceremony!
After exchanging vows and sealing the deal with the big kiss, the bride and groom walked down the beach for a portrait session. The sunset glow of the “Golden Hour” added a romantic warmth to this mini-photoshoot.
When the bride and groom made their grand entrance to the reception, the wedding guests were waiting with sparklers, which they held during the bride and groom’s first dance. Next, the bride danced with her dad while the groom danced with his mom. The reception continued with smiles, laughter, and tears, as the bride and groom’s closest friends and family stood up to give speeches and toast the newlyweds. As the rest of the guests joined the dance floor, the bride and groom posed for a group tequila shot!
From sweet kisses to tears of joy, C + Y’s wedding day was brimming with happiness. This was a day to remember!
