Every moment of A + C’s destination beach wedding at Hotel Grand Fiesta Americana was magical, from the most anticipated elements down to the smallest details. Thanks to Pamela at Amy Abbott Events, A + C’s wedding day was a dream come true. We had so much fun working with this sweet couple and their awesomely positive energy.
We fell in love with the bride’s stunning wedding gown, especially with the intricate detailing on the back of her dress. Also, while some brides opt for matching dresses for their bridesmaids, these bridesmaids looked stunning, each rocking a unique deep color of forest green, navy blue, and ruby red. With a beach-wavy hairstyle and flawless makeup, the bride truly looked like a queen on her wedding day.
Guests followed custom signs to the ceremony, where pops of pink and purple flowers complemented the elegant white chairs and ceremony arch from Del Cabo Events. The ceremony took place in the sand, while a soft ocean breeze blew, keeping the guests cool under the sun. When the bride and her father walked down the aisle, we caught the groom (and more than a few wedding guests) smiling through tears of joy. We loved the vibrancy of the bride’s blooming pink and purple bouquet, designed by Arete Florals, which stood out against the otherwise elegantly minimalist décor. Our favorite detail from the ceremony was the handwritten vows that the bride and groom exchanged. By writing down your vows and then reading them out loud, you can add a whole new layer of intimacy to your ceremony that is guaranteed to tug at everyone’s hearts.
After the ceremony, the bride and groom went for a walk along the beach, where they posed for a romantic portrait photoshoot. One of our favorite shots from the entire wedding is the close-up portrait of the newlyweds where the bride’s veil has wrapped around them and is dancing in the light breeze. We love when nature’s surprises end up making the perfect photo!
A + C picked the perfect date to tie the knot, because the sunset on their wedding night absolutely lit up the sky in pastel colors. The reception took place on an outdoor patio overlooking the ocean at sunset – just another reason we fell in love with the venue at Fiesta Americana. Later, they danced under the stars to “Too Fast” by John Alviv while the wedding guests held sparklers. All the wedding guests got a little teary-eyed during the father-daughter dance and the mother-son dance that followed, but the reception picked up the pace as the guests joined the dance floor to show off their moves! The night ended on a sweet note with cake, cheers, and lots of dancing!
