Lush gardens, pale blushing pinks, and ocean views … This wedding was a sweet reminder of just how beautiful life is. K + J had such an intimate connection that was our pleasure to photograph!
The couple spent the morning enjoying their time getting ready with their friends. In one room, the girls laughed while Olga Bustos from Los Cabos Makeup perfected their wedding day looks. All the bridesmaids teared up when the bride entered in her gorgeous Lazaro wedding gown. In a separate suite, the groom adjusted his bowtie and finished getting ready with his groomsmen.
We’ve done First Look sessions before, but this bride requested a two – one with the groom, and one with her father. We loved the idea! We got hit hard by a case of the feels when the father of the bride turned around to see his little girl dressed all in white. This was the perfect opportunity for the bride to get the perfect portrait with her parents as well.
Next, the bride walked to the outdoor gardens of Cabo Del Sol to tap the groom on the shoulder. The look on his face when he saw his gorgeous bride was priceless.
One of our favorite details of the wedding was that the bride and groom opened handwritten letters that they had written to each other before the wedding day. We love sweet gestures of affection like that that really exhibit true love.
The bride and her father walked down the grassy aisle arm-in-arm to meet the groom at the altar. It was a sunny afternoon, and the bride and groom exchanged vows with a gorgeous ocean view. We loved the cream and pink blush color scheme for the bouquets, designed by Cabo Floral Studio. Yarai Peregrino from Memories Weddings & Events did a fantastic job of creating the perfect ambience for an outdoor afternoon wedding. The ceremony area was also set up with love seats and tables for the guests to lounge.
After the bride and groom said “I do,” they wandered onto the beach for a sunset walk. The soft lighting was perfect for dreamy, artistic portrait photos! The newlyweds also took a twist on their bridal party photos by requesting a “messy family gathering” with the glam of a reality TV show. The result was fantastic. It was so much fun to work with a couple that was interested in getting creative with their portrait shots!
The reception began with the bride and groom’s first dance to “All of Me” by John Legend, and it was a tearjerker. The guests all teared up a little bit as the bride and groom’s closest friends and family members stood up to give speeches. The bride and groom cut the cake together before ending the night with dancing and music!
