G + G’s destination beach wedding at Hacienda Cocina y Cantina was a rainbow of color and emotion! This vibrant wedding was as dreamy as a storybook fairytale, and just as romantic too! With the help of event planner Vari Avila at Allure Event, G + G chose the perfect place for a cozy, intimate wedding.
We love to see couples that are relaxed as can be on their wedding day – it is so important to enjoy every moment of the day you’ve been waiting for so long. G + G had the biggest smiles on their faces all day long, and their laughter was contagious. They were such a pleasure to work with! We loved the bride’s natural, boho-chic wedding look by Suzanne Morel, with minimal makeup and flowers tucked into her hair.
Before the ceremony, the bride and groom met in the gardens of Hacienda Cocina y Cantina for a “First Look” photoshoot. They took their time enjoying the morning and each other’s company as they strolled through the gorgeous property, talking and laughing together. It was the perfect way to capture candid photos of the couple in their natural element.
Their romantic, bohemian-style ceremony took place right on the sand, with the ocean sparkling and waves crashing in the background. The aisle was decorated with vibrant flowers, and guests were seated on comfy benches with soft, colorful pillows. The sun was shining down as the bride and groom exchanged vows and their rings.
After the ceremony, the wedding party made its way to an outdoor patio for the reception. While the mariachi band played, guests sipped margaritas and signed a “love note” map for the bride and groom. Lola De Campo at Florenta Flower Design outdid herself with absolutely stunning floral arrangements and bouquets. In addition to the bride’s blooming bouquet, the reception was decorated with beautiful table centerpieces and floral arrangements. The vibrant color scheme of orange and red flowers and green, yellow, and blue tableware gave the reception a warm, summer feel. The reception patio was also decked out with string lights and traditional Mexican “papel picado” strung above the tables.
After dinner, the reception continued with the newlyweds’ first dance and the cutting of the cake. We especially loved the couple’s choice of puppy cake toppers – so cute! This couple brought their energy, personality, and love to their wedding, and it showed. We had so much fun at this vibrant event!
