This gorgeous beach wedding was blooming with color and joy – it makes us smile just thinking about it! Lauren Lemke from Amy Abbott Events turned T + A’s vision for a fun, bright beach wedding into reality. The staff at Cabo Surf Hotel was incredibly helpful and accommodating every step of the way. We loved the bride’s boho chic style, with an off-the-shoulders wedding gown and a messy bun. Rainbow-colored streamers, bright lanterns, and a breathtaking ceremony arch made of various flowers in full bloom brought the ceremony to life. The wedding ceremony took place on the sand at the beach, easily accessed from the hotel. With the live music of a guitarist in the background and waves crashing just beyond the altar, the bride’s grand entrance was breathtaking. One of our favorite moments in the ceremony is when the groom first sees the bride – the way his face lit up when he saw his beautiful wife-to-be as her father accompanied her down the aisle is a moment that cannot be replicated.
The festive group posed for group photos after the newlyweds completed the ceremony with the big kiss! Then, the bride and groom snuck away for a private stroll along the beach. We definitely recommend scheduling time between the ceremony and the reception to give you enough time for photos! Dusk is an optimal time for romantic portraits of the newlyweds because of the soft glow created by the setting sun. Plus, this is the perfect opportunity to get a few moments of alone time together before the reception festivities begin! T + A enjoyed each other’s company by the shore just as the sun slipped behind the horizon … we loved capturing their candid laughter and smiles! On the way back to the hotel, we took advantage of Cabo Surf Hotel’s unique architecture features, perfect for portraits of the bride and groom!
The bride and groom explained that one of the moments they were most looking forward to was the dance floor! The newlyweds chose “You and I” by John Legend for their first dance – is it a surprise it was a total tearjerker moment? Their first dance was followed up by the father-daughter and mother-son dance … so sweet! As the night progressed, wedding guests showed off all of their best dance moves. And just when we thought it was all too good to be true, the sky lit up with fireworks. It warmed our hearts to see the bride and groom embrace as they watched the fireworks across the sky. From start to finish, T + A’s wedding day was full of joy.
